 We import processed cedar from various mills throughout the British Columbia Coast. At our yard in the beautiful Creston Valley we sort, trim and plane these products to best meet our customers needs. Because we are able to purchase our products at reduced prices we are able to pass these savings on to our customers.

TB Cedar Products prides itself in offering high quality Western Red Cedar from the coastal forests.  The Western Coastal Red Cedar offers a wider variety of colours than other cedars commonly available in the Kootenays and harvested from Interior forests.

The Healthy, Environmentally Friendly Choice

Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to decay and insect infestations so there is no need to treat these products with chemicals that are harmful to the environment, your family or your pets.  However with time even cedar will weather and change color due to the UV rays of the sun.  We recommend protecting your cedar with a clear "UV inhibited"  product which will enhance the colors and bring out the richness of the wood.

Less Expensive Than You Might Think!

Though cedar is more expensive than spruce, pine or fir it is more lasting and certainly more beautiful in the sense of its colours, textures and grains.

Western Red Cedar is a pleasure to work with as it is free of pitch or resin.  It is also a lightweight wood.  It also provides excellent insulation value and helps with soundproofing.
